Port de Cala Bona
The Port of Cala Bona is located on the northeast coast of the island of Mallorca.
The history of the port dates back to 1934 when there was a fishing colony in the area that used modest facilities. The motivation for the construction of the port works, at first to meet the needs of the fishing colony, evolved over time and today this traffic is a minority, with the main function of the port being the provision of service to fishing vessels. playtime.
The port adapts the classic form of a dock and a counter-dock, both of which are breakwaters, which encompass the primitive facilities converted into an interior dock. The water mirror is used with three complementary works such as two pontoons and a breakwater; Berthings also take place at the attached and riverside docks.
In the nearby adjacent establishments, users can find many of the services typical of marinas, among which are a slipway ramp, workshops for hull repairs and painting, divers, facilities for nautical services and tourist establishments.
The port has 192 berths for different lengths, 20 of which are intended for transients.
