The harbour in which Marina Botafoc is located is protected from wind and houses commercial docks as well as fishing and recreational facilities. It welcomes yachts of between 6 and 30 meters in length.
At the time of arrival, you should keep a look out for merchant vessel traffic as they have priority in this area. The maximum authorized speed for entry or exit of the port is 3 knots and we advise you enter the port with the minimum amount of fuel on board.
From Marina Botafoc, we recommend you visit the nature reserve Es Vedra, about 16 nautical miles away. Es Vedra is a small island off the west coast, from the highest peak you can enjoy spectacular views of Ibiza or down below, discover the unique plants and underwater wildlife.
Also, less than two nautical miles away you arrive at Talamanca cove, a magnificent anchorage spot very close to the city. And finally, one of the most famous beaches in Ibiza, Ses Salines, is less than 7 nautical miles sailing from the marina and a perfect place to drop anchor.

If you want to moor in Marina Botafoc, you can communicate by VHF (Channel 9) and follow the instructions from the receptionist. Alternatively, there’s a waiting dock where you can moor temporarily and visit the harbour master's office with the mooring sheet stating your required service.
When you want to leave your berth, you must let the marina know about your departure 24 hours in advance.
