The Club Marítimo de Mahón is located in the port of Mahón, Menorca. The marina is tucked inside a natural bay running 3 nautical miles in inland, surrounded by the Natural Park S'Albufera d'Es Grau. The Club currently has more than 800 active members making it one of the most important sporting entities in the Balearic Islands.

What to do at Club Marítimo de Mahón
Club Marítimo de Mahón is located at the southern mouth of one of the largest natural harbours in the world. Mahón is the second most important city in Menorca and the municipality is the most easterly point in all of Spain. The city, founded by the Carthaginians, has a very interesting historical heritage that is well worth visiting. The church of Santa María which conserves a monumental organ, Teatro Principal built in 1829, which regularly hosts impressive performances, El Carmen church and right next door, El Carmen cloister, where you can enjoy a spot of shopping at the local Menorcan market. Take a stroll along Isabel II street, home to the largest number of stately homes in Mahón, and finally, don’t miss the Ca n' Oliver palace. The city also has a wide range of delicious local gastronomy where you can try some traditional Mediterranean delights such as an exquisite Menorcan lobster stew.
Visit Club Marítimo de Mahón by boat
The marina has an elongated shape and is around 12 metres deep. This makes it a safe harbour in which to moor your boat without having to worry about the Mediterranean currents. The entrance to this natural bay is easy, regardless of the weather conditions. From Mahon, we recommend the following boat route: first stop in the Calesfonts dock (Es Castell), from there towards Illa del Rei and finally Lazareto. In the surrounding area you can also find some areas of great natural beauty such as beaches; Es Grau, Punta Prima or l'Illa de l'Aire. They are all the perfect place to anchor for the day enjoying the crystal-clear waters and stunning views.

Berths at Club Marítimo de Mahón.
The Club Marítimo de Mahón has 150 berths available on the quay, of which 48 are for transit boats. These moorings are perfect for boats of between 8 and 30 metres in length. Given the security provided by this area and the limited supply of free moorings, it is important you plan your boat trip in advance and make your reservation. You must present a series of documents: the boat registration with current insurance papers and the ID card or passport of the boat owner and/or captain.

If your boat needs any kind of maintenance work, you can find a repair dock equipped with a 50tn travelift, a 12t crane and a launching area.
